Most amazing places to visit in Kenya that are quite exciting.

Over the years, Kenya had attracted many tourist from all over the world due to its unique and exciting places to visit and wildlife. But what is funny is that the Kenyans themselves rarely do local tourism of their country. In this article it's our aim to inform and also challenge our fellow Kenyans to visit Kenyan places.

1. Hell’s Gate National Park – Located in the Great Rift Valley, this park offers a unique experience with its dramatic scenery, diverse wildlife, and active geothermal features. It is one of the few parks in the world where you can walk or cycle through the park.


2. Aberdare National Park – Nestled in the Aberdare mountain range, this park is home to the second highest peak in Kenya. Here, you can spot a wide variety of animals, including elephants, lions, and leopards.


3. Lamu Island – This stunning island off the coast of Kenya is a must-visit. The old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you can explore the winding alleyways, traditional architecture, and ancient mosques.



4. Kakamega Forest – This lush rainforest is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, including rare species like the yellow-bellied sunbird and the African grey parrot.



5. Lake Nakuru – This beautiful lake in the Rift Valley is home to over 400 species of birds, including flamingos. It is a popular spot for bird watching and wildlife viewing.


6. Mount Kenya – At 5,199 meters, Mount Kenya is the second highest peak in Africa. It is an incredible spot for hiking, camping, and wildlife viewing.


7. Tsavo West National Park – This park is one of the largest in Kenya and is home to a variety of wildlife, including lions, black rhinos, and elephants. It is also a great spot for viewing the beautiful scenery.



8. Masai Mara National Reserve – This stunning reserve is home to an incredible array of wildlife, and it is the best place to view the annual wildebeest migration.


9. Lake Turkana – This huge lake is the largest permanent desert lake in the world. It is home to a variety of wildlife, including the Nile crocodile and the large population of hippos.


10. Great Rift Valley – This huge valley runs through Kenya, and it is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife. Here, you can visit a  of national parks and reserves, and explore the stunning landscape.
